VTAC:Light Mount Gen 2 Prototype

Details
Category: Accessories
Created: Sunday, 31 August 2008 04:25

My buddy Kyle Lamb passed on one of his latest products my way to get a sneak peek. You might be familiar with VTAC's current light mount which is a nice cost effect way to mount a tactical light on picatinny rails. They are made of some fancy PVC based material that is light, but still heavy duty durable. On this latest version the screw setup is a bit easier now and Kyle wanted me to make sure and note that on the final version the T-nuts will be changed to snap in.

This way you don't have to worry about them falling somewhere when adjusting your mount. Another big improvement is the inclusion of an adapter to fit smaller diameter flashlights. There is even a slot to accommodate lights that have clips. Thus as some quick examples I can easily go from a big G2 to a small E1B. I haven't made a picture yet, but this light mount also works well on the OPS-CORE ACH - ARC Helmet Rail System. Will keep you updated, when out they will be available here:
