  • COUNTY COMM "Combat Super Shears" EMT sheers in ACU color scheme

Tired of having fruity or overly hi-viz EMT shears? Check these out! Main blades are stainless steel with a black durable passivated low-light finish. The handles are made of impact resistant composite in a Foliage Green based color to look good near ACU / UCP gear. The first intended use is to cut clothing off the wounded to treat them, but they can be used for many more cutting needs.
*Update, now available in black blades and handles.

Bonus note: Last picture shows them in loop panel I designed which is now standard in county comm responder pouches. Sporting a new "Extreme Brown" exterior which is like sewer green, but more brown.

  • COUNTY COMM 10X21 SPY MONOCULAR

6.5 degree field of view, made by NcSTAR

Picked this lil guy up for viewing targets on the range and to generally see things further away on trips since I don't have a super zoom lens on my camera. Since it is so small I can toss it in my pocket or most gear with no hassle. Stores flat and is turned 90 degrees to make it ready to use (aka view things right side up). The red end points to what you want to see and clear end goes to your eye. The eyepiece is turned to adjust focus. It appears things need to be at least around 25 feet away to be focusable. I don't know why, but I thought I had to hold it a certain way to be right side up at first.

  • COUNTY COMM 1x4 Technician's Pocket Screw Driver

So I didn't actually need this lil guy, but the price was right. Rather than having 4 hard to store separate screwdrivers, I have them all self contained in one here. Shaped like a pen it is very easy to store and carry. The driver has 5 parts including the middle body, 1 general end, 1 end with clip, and 2 bits with 2 heads each. Bits include: 2 Slotted- 1/16" and 1/8" and 2 Phillips- #P0 - #P00. Although the grip and plastic main base is not made for high torque situations, the driver works great for electronics work like PCs, watches, etc.. Currently available in classy black or high-viz orange.

  • COUNTY COMM A&P Aircraft Mechanic's Key Rings

These rings weren't exactly tools so I decided to toss them here in the admin area. They are made from stainless aviation cable with brass screws and barrels, yet still priced quite affordably. The original intent is to be used as beefy keychain replacements, but also work great to keep tools and other items together. Operation is simple in which the user routes the cable through the items and screws the ends together. Unscrew to release. I only show the 6" version, but there is a 12" version available as well. A bonus cool feature is that the screw end design allows multiple rings to be used together to make larger ones. Simple, useful, and affordable; makes these rings hard to pass up.

  • COUNTY COMM Compact Battery Holders

Got some of these recently and although simple, I find them pretty handy and well designed. At first I blew off the thought of battery holders for a while thinking I'd just toss them in small pockets on my bags or kit. I wasn't too worried about my batteries shorting, but then I saw the selling point of no more digging in the bottom of your pack for that last battery; I've so been there so decided to give them a try. Made of tough nylon plastic, the holders are available in both AA and CR-123 versions, holding 4 batteries each. 2 Colors are offered for each type including International orange or OD green. The orange is great for the hi-viz factor and the green is nice and tacti-cool looking. Usability is great. Batteries easily slide in and it doesn't matter which way you insert the batteries. The end tabs will keep the batteries secure through a shake fest, but still allow easy deliberate extraction of the batteries. One side has cut-outs which lend a hand allowing the user to push the batteries out instinctively with one's thumb. Only downside was the height tolerance is enough so the batteries can move up and down in their tubes and cause noise. This however, is more of shake them in your hand factor and less when actually inside a pouch.

  • COUNTY COMM EOD ROBOTICS BREACHER BAR

Designed by EOD Robotics, this bar makes a great hand-sized pry bar. Core specs include that it is made from 1045 High Carbon Steel and Fully Heat Treated to a Rockwell Hardness of over 45. They come raw, which is still plenty usable, but spend a little time to get a 550 cord wrap on there and you will have a sweet custom grip. The built in holes make this task easier and more secure. The business end has a wedge up top and at one side, while full flat thickness is on the other side for strength. The bottom end has blunt cut edges giving it a shape good for a grip and a striking side whether it be a window, someone's head, or for a hammer assist. If one were motivated the pry edges could be sharped to make some form of combat bar, but I kind of like it cheap and rough like it comes. This way you will never worry or hesitate to ram it into anything, throw it around, misuse, and generally treat like a redheaded stepchild. As a warning: once you get one in your hand you will have a incredible to urge to pry/breach anything, likely ignoring reason and logic until said goal is accomplished.

  • COUNTY COMM EOD UTILITY BAG

    DIM: 12" x 8" x 7"
Had this one sent my way as B-day present. I mostly intended to use it as expanding backpack space, however also works great as a general small go bag or man purse. Being fully PALS'd out I can mount the pouch itself or attach other smaller pouches to it to easily adjust to my situational need. The outter layer is nylon based while the interior is a more waterproof material. Side plastic D-rings allow for extra attachment points and there is a velcro strip for ID patches. Inside are 2 large velcro sealed sleeves on the back side and a mesh pocket with velcro flap on the front side. This allows for the diversity of mags to medical equipment to even ordinance. Additional tether points are inside to assist in organizational options. The strap isn't anything to call come about with plastic snaps, but should be quite sufficient most of the time. You will need to fill up the bag with ammo before much strain will go on the strap snaps. I'll update as I beat on it more, has been working great for backpack expansion so far.

  • COUNTY COMM Issue Tweezers NSN: 3740-01-474-7377

    DIM: 2.5" x 0.5" x 0.25" (6.3 cm x 13 cm x 6 cm)

Picked these up to replace some crappy tweezers that were laying around the house that couldn't grab too great due to corrosion. In contrast, these are stainless steel so will be around for a while. I haven't seen the 2 piece design before, but since they are so pointy the holder piece comes in handy to protect from poking or snagging other items. The tweezers will stay in the holder until the tweezer part is squeezed and then pulled from the holder. The hole on the holder makes for a good connection point if one were to want to lanyard it up in or on gear. As the wording on the actual tweezers state, the sharp point design gives pin-point precision. All the grab goes to one point unlike other flat tweezers where the optimal grab placement can shift. Simple and compact, I find them useful and easy to store.

  • COUNTY COMM Kershaw T-Tool

Since I don't have a big Torx screw set this guys comes in handy to adjust the clips on my knives. Very compact and lightweight, it comes with the most common screw heads to adjust your knife clips. To use, just unscrew the ring end and pour out the bits. Place the desired bit in the other end, which will be magnetically held, and get down to business. The bit sizes specifically include: A Torx T6, T8, and a Philips head driver. Overall length is about 4" and the handle is made of aluminum with a slick teflon coating.

  • COUNTY COMM Responder Pouch

    DIM: 12" x 7" x 2.5"

The Responder Pouch was designed by a SWAT Technician with the intent to have a kit bag that could be rapidly adjusted per mission. For staters, a unique feature of the pouch is that it is padded on front, back, and bottom making it good for electronics and more delicate tools.

  • COUNTY COMM SERE Wrist Compass

Water resistant to 3 atm. atmospheres
Fibreshell high impact, waterpoof and dustproof case.
Black face features luminous MARAGLO markings on all 4 polar positions and each and every 10 degree marker.
This compass is tested to withstand shock, vibration, and water resistance in accordance to specification MIL-PRF-46374G Type II, Class 4.

  • COUNTY COMM Stainless Steel Peanut Lighter

These are new gen versions of the original Peanut Lighter with improvements including: quality materials, removable lighter core, and flat bottom to stand upright. The removable lighter core allows the item to be used a a mini waterproof pill capsule. Functionality is classic using a spark wheel for ignition and a wick to reach the fuel (standard lighter fluid). As for reasons why use one of these instead of say a zippo? Well the small size and keyring make the Peanut Lighter much more keychain and pocket friendly. The fact that the top screws on to make a waterproof seal also can make it more storable without losing reliability. As for my immediate uses, I plan to use it more on my sewing projects instead of crappy disposible lighters since the Peanut Lighter is much more durable and can be refueled.

  • COUNTY COMM Super Spork (Made by: Light my Fire)

DIM: 6.5" Long , Approx 6 grams in weight.

Got a couple of these for amusement around the house and on the move eating. One side is all spoon, and the other side is mostly fork with a serrated knife edge flair. Made from heat resistant Poly Carbonate material, the spork is durable and flexible. It will stay rigid for most uses, but say on ice cream, it will flex a little bit to get the job done. Heat transfer is slow so it is great for hot / boiling liquids. They are dishwasher safe and since not hard metal, are safe to use on fancy cookware with Teflon. The shape isn't good for holding savage "I'm starving" fist style, but works great for the more table manners oriented grip. Advantages of this design is that you get the full effects of utencils. Compared to other sporks, the spoon side is deeper thus can hold more and the fork side has full size prongs to allow poking of thicker foods. The knife part isn't full size, but there is enough serrated area to get your cut on. This 3 in 1 action takes up less space and weight then having 3 separate utencils while still keeping usability. The Super Spork is also very affordable so no drama if you lose one. Multiple military and hi-viz colors are offered, but availability comes and goes.

  • COUNTY COMM: TSAR Tritum Dive watch by Marathon and Zulu watch bands.

I need to take more pictures of this sweet watch, but thought I would get something up for now. This watch is known as a NASA diver's watch, but many other servicemen enjoy the watch for its stylish looks and bombproof like construction. Features are straight forward including hour, minute, second, day , and a bezel for elapsed time. One of the features that sets this watch apart from others in its class is the TSAR uses tritium vials rather than tritium paint.

  • COUNTYCOMM Force Multiplier Bag from Maratac

    DIM: 13" Tall x 16" Long x 7" Wide

Countycomm brings us another solid piece of kit design. It can be a little hard to tell in the pictures, but this thing is BIG.
